INTERNATIONAL MICROSCOPY CONFERENCE CONVENES IN CAPE TOWN FEBRUARY 5 AND 6
LARGE AUDIENCE ATTENDS SPM 2002 WORKSHOP IN CAPE TOWN

One of the largest audiences to ever attend a Triple-O Workshop in South Africa gathered in the lecture hall of iThemba LABS in Cape Town on February 5 & 6 for SPM 2002. Managing chairperson and Cape organizer of the science event was Dr. Elmarie Viljeon of iThemba. The welcoming address was delivered by Prof. John Sharpey-Schafer, director of iThemba Labs. Official sponsor/host of the two-day event was Dr. Frank J. Reineke, founder of Triple-O Microscopy, Postdam, Germany.
